Advanced Foot Care Nurse & Wellness Centre
Windsor / Chatham, Ontario

Michelle is an RPN since 2012 and Clinical Manager at Advanced Foot Care Nurse and Wellness Centre — AFCN's flagship clinic. She spent nine years in long-term care before becoming a foot care nurse in 2021, and quickly advanced to a management role overseeing our full nursing team. Michelle handles all new staff orientation, oversees clinical skills across our locations, and provides care across clinic and LTC facility settings throughout Windsor-Essex County. Students training with Michelle learn from someone who trains our own nurses every day.

Why Train in Windsor

Southwestern Ontario's largest border city — and AFCN's home base.

The opportunity in Windsor-Essex & Chatham-Kent

Windsor-Essex is Southwestern Ontario's largest urban centre outside London, with a diverse population that includes a strong senior demographic, high diabetes rates, and a rapidly growing multi-cultural community that values professional, personal healthcare. Chatham-Kent adds a substantial agricultural and small-town population where mobile foot care demand is consistently underserved. Together, this region represents one of Ontario's most sustained foot care markets — and the market Janis Boudreau built AFCN inside.

For nurses building a foot care practice in Windsor, LaSalle, Tecumseh, Amherstburg, Leamington, or anywhere in Chatham-Kent or Essex County, training at AFCN's flagship clinic gives you a unique advantage: you're learning the systems, standards, and clinical technique that our founder built through 26 years of practice — and that we teach across 26+ clinical partner locations nationwide.
