AFCN Learning Institute is operated by Advanced Foot Care Nurse and Wellness Centre Inc. ("AFCN"), an Ontario-based company providing foot care nurse education, skills training, digital learning, and professional resources to licensed nurses across Canada.

Our products and programs include, but are not limited to:

• Advanced Foot Care Nurse Course (theory + hands-on clinical training)
• Practice Standards Skills Series
• Foot Care Nurse Refresher Program
• Business Mastery Program
• Forms, Policies & Procedure Manuals
• Webinars and Online Skills Courses
• Foot Masters VIP Network access
• Bundle packages combining any of the above

These Terms apply to all of the above.

• Change of mind or personal circumstances
• Scheduling conflicts, illness, or inability to attend clinical training
• Failure to meet prerequisites for clinical placement
• Failure to achieve the required exam score or complete practical skills
• Leaving the nursing profession or changing career direction
• Technical difficulties on your own device or internet connection
• Dissatisfaction with course content, format, or delivery

Rescheduling Requests (Clinical Component Only):
In the event of a documented personal emergency preventing attendance at the clinical component of the Advanced Foot Care Nurse Course, a written request for rescheduling may be submitted to [email protected]. Rescheduling is at the sole discretion of AFCN and is subject to availability. This does not constitute a refund and is not guaranteed.

• You have 6 months from the date of enrolment to complete all online theory modules.
• After 6 months, access will expire. No extension or refund will be provided.
• It is your responsibility to log in and complete your coursework within the access period.

• Clinical training must be completed at an AFCN-approved clinical partner location on the dates confirmed at enrolment.
• Attendance at all three days of the clinical component is required.
• Rescheduling is subject to facilitator approval and clinical partner availability.

A Certificate of Completion is issued only when all of the following are met:

• All online theory modules are completed within the 6-month access period
• A minimum score of 80% is achieved on the final exam
• The practical skills evaluation checklist is completed in full and signed by the instructor, with all skills achieved

• Online course access expires 30 days after your Certificate of Completion is issued.
• Download or save any resources you wish to retain before access expires.

All forms, templates, policy manuals, and downloadable documents are:

• Available immediately upon purchase as digital downloads
• Non-refundable once downloaded or accessed
• Licensed for your individual professional use only — not for resale, redistribution, or use in a training program operated by a third party without written permission from AFCN
• Provided as general professional resources only — must be reviewed and customized to meet your province's specific regulatory, legal, and privacy requirements before clinical use

• Access to discussion tabs within applicable course chapters
• Access to the Foot Masters VIP Network (private community for AFCN students and graduates)
• Communication with instructors via the course discussion structure

• One-on-one email support, coaching, or mentorship outside of the course platform
• Direct messaging to instructors or AFCN staff outside of the course structure
• Unlimited or on-demand instructor access

Separate mentorship and coaching packages are available for purchase if additional support is needed.

• You confirm that you are a currently licensed nurse (RN, RPN, LPN, or equivalent) in good standing with your provincial regulatory college at the time of enrolment.
• You confirm that all information provided during registration and application is accurate and complete.
• AFCN reserves the right to verify prerequisites and to cancel enrolment (without refund) if false information has been provided.

AFCN may capture photographs or video during in-person clinical training sessions for use in marketing, educational, or social media content. Your participation in any photography or video is voluntary and requires your prior written consent at the time of the session. You will be asked separately at the clinical site. This section does not constitute consent.

All AFCN courses, materials, templates, and resources are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing AFCN provides constitutes legal advice, regulatory advice, or clinical advice specific to your province, college, or professional situation. AFCN is an education provider, not a legal, regulatory, or professional advisory service.

Specifically:

• Laws, standards, scope of practice rules, and regulatory requirements vary by province, territory, and regulatory college
• AFCN templates and documents are general resources and may require customization to meet your specific legal and regulatory obligations
• Before using any AFCN document, form, or policy in practice, you are strongly advised to have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer and/or your provincial regulatory college

Clinical partners delivering the hands-on component of AFCN courses are independent contractors. Their instruction is provided in good faith and does not create liability for AFCN in respect of outcomes in your practice.

All AFCN course content, materials, videos, forms, manuals, scripts, branding, and resources are the intellectual property of Advanced Foot Care Nurse and Wellness Centre Inc. and are protected under Canadian copyright law.

You may not:

• Reproduce, copy, distribute, or share AFCN content with others
• Use AFCN materials as the basis for your own courses or training programs
• Post AFCN proprietary content to any public platform, website, or group without written permission

Violation of these terms may result in legal action.
