Jocelyn is a Registered Practical Nurse, Advanced Foot Care Nurse, clinic owner, and educator. Before becoming an RPN in 2019, she worked as a PSW, developing a strong foundation in compassionate, client-centred care. Since specialising in advanced foot care in 2021, she has provided evidence-based foot care in both clinic and mobile settings. Her bedside nursing experience includes long-term care, acute and subacute medicine, and palliative care at LHSC. Jocelyn has also completed the Wounds Canada Wound Care Champion Program and is passionate about mentoring nurses through hands-on, evidence-based education — with a special interest in diabetic foot care and prevention.
Southwestern Ontario's growing senior population needs more skilled foot care nurses.
The opportunity in Southwestern Ontario
London serves as the healthcare and education hub for all of Southwestern Ontario — including surrounding communities from Sarnia to Woodstock, St. Thomas to Strathroy. The region has a rapidly aging population, high rates of type 2 diabetes, and significant unmet demand for accessible, professional foot care in both urban and rural settings.
For nurses building a foot care practice in London, Middlesex County, or surrounding SWO communities, the opportunity is real and growing. Training with Jocelyn means learning from a Wound Care Champion whose evidence-based teaching is grounded in real hospital, LTC, and palliative bedside experience — a rare combination in foot care education.
