In 2022, she partnered with a chiropractor to launch FIT Healthcare — a collaborative clinic offering foot care, chiropractic, physiotherapy, and registered massage under one roof. She holds specialty certifications in Onyfix, Swift Microwave Therapy, LCN Nail Reconstruction, and more, making her one of the most technically versatile educators in our network.
The Ottawa Valley has real, sustained demand — and the collaborative clinic model is the future.
The opportunity in the Ottawa Valley
Carleton Place sits at the heart of one of Ontario's fastest-growing regions — the Ottawa Valley commuter belt that stretches from Kanata to Almonte to Perth. This area has combined rapid residential growth with a well-established senior population, creating strong sustained demand for both preventive and advanced foot care. Communities from Arnprior to Smiths Falls to Ottawa's western suburbs remain underserved, particularly for specialty techniques like Onyfix and Swift Therapy.
For nurses building a foot care practice anywhere in the western Ottawa region or Lanark County, the opportunity is real. Training with Kim means learning from someone who not only built her own practice, but also successfully joined a collaborative multi-discipline clinic — the fastest-growing business model in Canadian foot care. She'll teach you both paths, so you can choose the right one for your goals.
